Traci McLaughlin is devastated with the supply problems she’s faced each month when her daughter’s Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) medication needs to be refilled, it becomes more difficult to find. She tells NewsChannel 9, “It’s been going on for over a year, we’ve had to change pharmacies and actual medications, we’ve had to change dosages. She’s in high school. She needs her meds to allow her to be successful in school.”
Dr. Robert Dracker, medical director of Summerwood Pediatrics reports at least 50% of his patients with ADHD are experiencing shortages and says he doesn’t know if there is an end in sight.
